What data Stockler accesses

Stockler requests read-only access to the following data from your Shopify store:

• Products — titles and current inventory levels
• Orders — line items and order dates only (used solely to calculate sales velocity; Stockler does not access customer names, emails, addresses, or payment information)

Stockler does not request write access to your products, orders, or any other store data, and does not modify anything in your store.

What we do with this data

Product and order data is used solely to calculate three things for your dashboard: which products are at risk of selling out soon, which are trending upward in sales, and which have had no recent sales. This calculation runs once daily. We do not sell, share, or use this data for any purpose beyond generating your dashboard and daily email summary.

What we store

We store a daily snapshot per product (title, current inventory, recent sales counts) so the dashboard loads quickly without querying Shopify on every page view. We do not store full order records, customer information, or payment details.

Data retention and deletion

If you uninstall Stockler, we delete all stored data for your store within 48 hours, in line with Shopify's data protection requirements.

You can request a copy of any data we hold about your store, or request its deletion, at any time by contacting us below.
